Shoot me down in flames but I do like some of the 60's high rise structures. I like this simple line sketch of a one such building, a lot. I shows a real confidence from the artist in their own ability, top work.

So much patience, so much skill, I'm in awe of the paper cuts and prints coming out of Suzy Taylor's studio. This Giclee print demonstrates quite clearly that some hens live in a nicer home than me. I love the style of this piece and the overall composition, it's hard to believe these are actually hand cut. Top work Suzy.

I've always loved the old style dress making tape measures, ever since I watched my mother craft all sorts of wonderments with hers, way back when I was a pup. Lovely design, lovely colours, just need a lovely brew to go in it!

Enough of the peacocks for now, let's get down to something a little more serious! I love these hand carved stamps for adding that little extra touch to notecards, envelopes and letters to far flung corners of the world. Surely that's got to bring a smile to the postie's face in the morning, it would me.

I promise you I'm not obsessed by peacocks this morning but I saw this Giclee print and couldn't resist. I'm not sure why but it reminds me a little of the dancers you might find at the Moulin Rouge in Paris, maybe it's their wonderfully proud looking crests. It's a delicious illustration, I love the colour and I would be happy to hang it on my wall without hesitation.

Grab yourself a bargain, this is a print being sold as a misprint by Bird House Press. You would be hard pressed to see the misprint if you weren't looking for it and I actually think it makes the print unique. £5 off the price of the print, that's got be worth a punt surely.

Another day another print, although this one is digital. This A3 print wouldn't go amiss being hung in an art gallery, the colours work beautifully together and I do have a penchant for anything geometric. One of my fave Folksy sellers is Francesca Iannaccone for sure.

Some of these clouds are way to happy to be raining. Once again my love of print wins out with this delightful screen print which would be quite happy, I'm sure to be hung upon my walls. One of only nine prints this surely has to make for a good investment. Oo, I've used investment twice now, I should be a bank manager.... er no!

This is my homage to our trip to Marrakesh this year. So so hot but wonderful and unique, I would urge anyone who hasn't been to go as soon as you can. The obligatory souks are an eye opener and a must for anyone with an eye for a bargain. These tea towels (set of two) take me right back to trawling the dark alley ways of the souks for hours on end, I only wish we had bought some tiles back with us, perhaps next time.

Blog hijack

Now, I don't want to come across as though I'm hijacking this blog for my own purpose but I am just hijacking this blog for my own purpose, if only the once. I just wanted to say a big thanks to those folk who commented on my should I shouldn't I thread in the Folksy forums. I took onboard those comments and went ahead and set my very own Folksy shop. I have managed to list four items so far, with more to follow shortly (subject to access to Folksy ;).
