Shoot me down in flames but I do like some of the 60's high rise structures. I like this simple line sketch of a one such building, a lot. I shows a real confidence from the artist in their own ability, top work.

So much patience, so much skill, I'm in awe of the paper cuts and prints coming out of Suzy Taylor's studio. This Giclee print demonstrates quite clearly that some hens live in a nicer home than me. I love the style of this piece and the overall composition, it's hard to believe these are actually hand cut. Top work Suzy.

I promise you I'm not obsessed by peacocks this morning but I saw this Giclee print and couldn't resist. I'm not sure why but it reminds me a little of the dancers you might find at the Moulin Rouge in Paris, maybe it's their wonderfully proud looking crests. It's a delicious illustration, I love the colour and I would be happy to hang it on my wall without hesitation.

Grab yourself a bargain, this is a print being sold as a misprint by Bird House Press. You would be hard pressed to see the misprint if you weren't looking for it and I actually think it makes the print unique. £5 off the price of the print, that's got be worth a punt surely.

Not sure why but I found myself talking in a cockney accent and being a bit more cheeky than usual. The t-shirt itself is 100% cotton and is available in S, M and L.

Blog hijack

Now, I don't want to come across as though I'm hijacking this blog for my own purpose but I am just hijacking this blog for my own purpose, if only the once. I just wanted to say a big thanks to those folk who commented on my should I shouldn't I thread in the Folksy forums. I took onboard those comments and went ahead and set my very own Folksy shop. I have managed to list four items so far, with more to follow shortly (subject to access to Folksy ;). I have just started collecting Hornsea Pottery (well I have one piece but I intent to get more, donations very much welcome ;) and although this isn't Hornsea it would be very welcome in my house. I love the simple sentiment of this postcard, all too often we get wrapped up with email and instant messaging. We forget that it's a joy to get mail through the post, it might be old fashioned but it never fails to bring a smile to my face. Hannah's got a great style going, this postcard is just the tip of the iceberg. Take a look at her shop and her website, both are rather nice.

I have a certain penchant for mid century style artwork and this print is heavily influenced by that period. Apparently, it was also available as a cushion but it must be sold now because I can't find it in the shop (on Folksy of course). No matter, I do love the print.
